Climate Change Levy
In April 2001 the Government introduced The Climate Change Levy (CCL) to encourage improved energy efficiency and reduced greenhouse gas emissions for all non-domestic users in the UK. The Climate Change Levy (CCL) is a charge on energy usage in industry, commerce and the public sector and provides a financial incentive for businesses to use less energy.
For most businesses the Climate Change Levy can add up to 10% to their energy bill. The most effective way to reduce the levy an organisation will pay is through improving the energy efficiency of the organisation. Bowman Riley Architects provide a coordinated range of specialist services to assist our clients in reducing overall energy costs and increase profits.
