Finance Assistant

Based in Skipton

We are looking for a Finance Assistant to take responsibility for the purchase and sales ledgers working with our Financial Controller.

  • Processing purchase invoices, agreeing accounts to supplier statements, preparing payment runs, posting payments and liaising with suppliers to ensure accounts are up to date
  • Responsibility of the sales ledger where work involves speaking to customers regarding unpaid debts, processing sales invoices, posting cash receipts and maintaining the ledger
  • Daily bank control and reconciliations
  • Petty cash control with a monthly reconciliation
  • Analysis of personal and credit card expenses
  • Assisting the Financial Controller by collating data for management reporting
  • Responsible for ensuring Coretime (timesheet/project management system) is up to date
  • Involvement in the company’s quality & environmental management system with the expectation of increasing responsibility for managing the system in the longer term
  • Additional duties as relevant to the post

Experience and Qualifications

  •  5 or more GCSE or equivalent – Maths and English grade C or above (essential)
  • Good working knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Basic VAT knowledge required
  • Good understanding of Sage Line 50 Accounts
  • Previous experience within an accountancy background would be advantageous.
  • AAT qualified or working towards the qualification. Support will be given for training.

Architectural Technologist

Based in London

We have a position for an enthusiastic architectural technologist to join the team and deliver a range of exciting projects predominantly new build construction developments in the hotels, residential, and commercial sectors.

Candidates will have a minimum of five years of post-qualification experience and a solid understanding of UK building regulations and planning process.

You will need to demonstrate:

  • Strong technical and administrative skills
  • High proficiency in the use of AutoCAD and Revit
  • Adobe Suite and Sketch-up would also be beneficial
  • Ability to work within a team and lead when called upon
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in coordinating and liaising with other consultants
  • Experience of liaison with local authority planning departments

Architectural Technologist

Candidates must have a minimum of 3-5 years post-qualification experience with a solid understanding of UK building regulations and planning process.  Specialise in design, be able to design and manage any project type, work collaboratively, hold a valued and regulated professional qualification.
