FULL TIME ARCHITECT BASED IN YORKSHIRE

Bowman Riley has an exciting opportunity for you to hone your talents managing and running projects, all the way through from RIBA stage 1 to 6.

It’s a full-time position, and you will be based in our Leeds or Skipton office, working as part of our growing healthcare and specialist residential team.

You should have at least 5 years’ work experience and are a qualified Architect or an experienced Part 2 Architectural Assistant, who can demonstrate the following:

  • Excellent design and presentation skills
  • Good Revit and Photoshop skills
  • Job running experience on projects
  • Responsible and capable of working independently
  • Confident in client liaison
  • Good technical and administrative skills
  • Capable of managing a small team when needed

Interior Designer Based in Yorkshire

Due to an increase in workload, we have a new opportunity for a talented and motivated Interior Designer to join our growing interior design team.

The new post presents an exciting prospect to work as part of an established team on projects ranging from commercial offices to high-end residences, leisure and hospitality venues.

We have a collaborative office structure centred around our team of architects, interior designers and building consultants with regular team-building events.

Our interior design team is based across our Leeds and Skipton offices. We offer flexibility in terms of office location and hours to suit the right candidate. The onboarding process will take place in the Skipton office with the potential to work out of the Leeds office and from home. Must be able to travel to meet clients and attend site as required.

To apply, you will need to have a degree in Interior Design and at least two years of post-qualification experience.

You will need to be competent in AutoCAD, Sketch Up, Photoshop and Microsoft packages. Specifically, you will need experience and knowledge of supporting technical drawing packages, visualisations and studio assistant duties such as sampling.

The post holder will be responsible for managing the materials library, placing orders and working directly with the lead designers to deliver schemes from concept to completion.

You will need to communicate confidently, be a team player and also work independently.

Architect with Heritage Experience   

Bowman Riley is looking for a chartered architect to join their heritage architecture team led by a RIBA accredited Conservation Architect.

We are interested in hearing from architects with experience of working with heritage assets and a passion for the re-use of existing buildings.

Conservation Architect accreditation is not essential for the role, however, if the successful candidate wishes to pursue a conservation architect qualification we will encourage and support this.

We work within a variety of sectors including hotels and leisure, residential, commercial, retail and also undertake work for private clients.

Our heritage team is based across our Leeds and Skipton offices. We offer flexibility in terms of office location and hours to suit the right candidate. We also offer flexible working and the opportunity to work from home for part of the week.  Must be able to travel to meet clients and attend site as required.

The ideal candidate will have experience of working on at least one of the following:

  • Repair works to listed buildings
  • Extensions to listed buildings
  • New design within or adjacent to conservation areas
  • New development within the setting of heritage assets

Skills needed:

  • RIBA Part 3 Qualified and ARB registered.
  • Responsible and capable of working independently
  • Have over five years of experience
  • Job running experience on projects.
  • Good knowledge of both Revit and AutoCAD.
  • Good technical and design skills
  • A confident communicator and team player
