First Leg of our Remote Running Challenge Completed

Our enthusiastic team has completed the first leg of our remote running challenge over the course of a week.

On 22 June 2020, we launched our remote running challenge with 18 members of our team running collectively from the Tyne Bridge in Newcastle to our London office in Clerkenwell.

We divided our 18 participants into two teams to create a bit of healthy competition with Daniel Mason captaining the ‘Running out of Steam’ team and Samantha Jevons captaining the ‘Running on Empty’ team.

Each team member recorded their runs and walks over the course of the week.  The teams ended up neck and neck as we completed the first leg of our remote running challenge with both teams achieving 106miles 170km from the Tyne Bridge in Newcastle to Ripon in North Yorkshire.

Along the way, we passed some of our projects.  Here is a shout-out to the schemes we passed on our virtual route:

More news to be posted as the challenge progresses into our second leg.
