Second Leg of OUR REMOTE RUNNING CHALLENGE COMPLETED

Our team has completed the second leg of our remote running challenge over the course of a week running over 100 miles as a team to travel virtually from Ripon to Skipton in North Yorkshire.

On 22 June 2020, we launched our remote running challenge with 18 members of our team running collectively from the Tyne Bridge in Newcastle to our London office in Clerkenwell.

We divided our 18 participants into two teams to create a bit of healthy competition with Daniel Mason captaining the ‘Running out of Steam’ team and Samantha Jevons captaining the ‘Running on Empty’ team.

Each team member recorded their runs and walks over the course of the week.  At this point, as we completed the second leg of our remote running challenge the leading team is Running on Empty is now way ahead of the competition.  We achieved 102.9mile 165km from Grantley Hall Hotel and Wellness Retreat in Ripon where we finished our first leg cross country to Skipton.

Along the way, we passed some of our projects, our Leeds office and ended up at our Skipton office.  Here is a shout-out to the schemes we passed on our virtual route:

More news to be posted as the challenge progresses into our third leg.
