Toronto Square Reception Refurbishment – Leeds City Centre
M & G
Leeds, West Yorkshire
Following Bowman Riley’s major refurbishment and extension to the Leeds city centre office building, Toronto Square in 2008.
The current building owners decided that the reception and common areas needed an internal refresh.
Toronto Square is a Grade A 90,000 ft2 multi-let office building close to Leeds railway station. Bowman Riley Interiors was commissioned to design stylish and contemporary internal spaces. The main design requirement was to enhance the environment for current occupiers and help attract new commercial tenants in the highly competitive Leeds office market.
We prepared three feasibility options, which were presented to the building owner and a number of property agents using 3D visuals and mood boards. A design was selected and then was developed into a construction drawing package.
Our design refreshes the existing white minimalist style by introducing a new colour palette, flooring, lighting, decoration and furniture. The materials chosen are robust and durable with an industrial feel. We also re-planned the layout the of the reception space to improve it’s functionality and appearance.
We introduced the latest on-screen technology for signage, information and way finding.
