April Marsden Promoted to Director
We are thrilled to announce that April Marsden has been promoted to the position of Director.
Since joining Bowman Riley in 2019 as an Associate, April has been a key figure in our practice. Thanks to her outstanding leadership, technical expertise, and unwavering client focus, she has steadily progressed through senior associate and associate director roles. Her promotion to Director is not only well deserved but also a significant milestone for both April and our business.
April brings over 20 years of architectural experience to the role. She leads a specialist team committed to delivering thoughtful, sustainable, and future-ready design solutions. A passionate advocate for innovation, she champions modular construction and off-site fabrication, ensuring high-quality, efficient, and sustainable outcomes that integrate seamlessly with existing environments.
April’s ability to engage and collaborate with clients and stakeholders is one of her greatest strengths. Her open, people-first approach has helped build long-standing relationships across the sector, often leading to repeat collaborations and trusted partnerships.
She’s also a prominent voice for diversity in the built environment. In 2024, April served as Regional Chair of Women in Property (Yorkshire and North East), and she remains an active and valued committee member.
As Bowman Riley enters an exciting new chapter, with an ambitious three-year growth strategy and a vision to be a trailblazer in the industry, April’s leadership will be instrumental in guiding us forward.
