Interior Design Administrative Assistant

Position Overview:
We have an exciting new opportunity for an Interior Design Administrative Assistant who will support our interior design team and the broader team in all aspects of administration and interior design operations. You will play an integral part in the business, supporting colleagues and advocating our core values while helping bolster a pleasant and safe working environment and sharing in our inclusive culture.

Experience and Qualifications
- GCSEs in Mathematics and English (or equivalent qualifications)
- Strong English language skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively in a professional environment.
- Competency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and experience with InDesign.
- Previous experience in an administrative or support role.
- A full UK driving license is preferred.

Senior Architectural Technologist/Technical Architect – Skipton
Permanent Full-time position
Based in Skipton, North Yorkshire
Bowman Riley has an exciting opportunity due to an increasing workload for a Senior Architectural Technologist/Technical Architect who wants to take on a new opportunity within our Skipton architectural team.
We are looking for someone who has experience working in different sectors, ideally within education, residential and industrial sectors, who can work on multiple projects and create detailed drawings while ensuring that all designs meet building regulation standards, the Building Safety Act requirements, and other prerequisites. You must be able to coordinate with clients, contractors and other stakeholders. Foster professional development while sharing knowledge, supporting and offering mentorship to other team members.
To apply, you will need
- A degree or equivalent qualification relevant to the role.
- To be proficient with Revit, AutoCAD and other application software packages.
- To have experience in and be able to undertake the Building Safety Act Principal Designer role and act as Lead Designer on projects, responsible for coordinating information between the design team.
- A practical knowledge of building and planning regulations and associated standards.
- To have strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- To be a team player with the determination to drive projects forward.
- To hold a Full UK driving license is preferred.

Architectural Technologist – Skipton
Bowman Riley has an exciting opportunity for an Architectural Technologist to join our team of qualified architects, technologists, and architectural assistants. The role will allow you to immerse yourself in working within our team, designing and delivering on various projects while being supported and mentored on your career path.
Based in our Skipton office, this is a full-time position with the opportunity for hybrid working.
To apply, you will need:
- A degree in Architectural Technology or equivalent
- At least three years of experience working within an architectural practice
- High proficiency using both AutoCAD and Revit (BIM)
- Broad experience in the production of technical drawing/detailing packages
- Competent in applying standard UK Building Regulations with an awareness of the Building Safety Act.
- Confident in coordinating and liaising with other consultants
- A flexible and positive approach to working within a team or autonomously
