Matthew MacWhirter joined Bowman Riley’s Leeds team in 2025 as a Building Surveyor with over 10 years in the field and more than 15 years in the wider construction industry.
He has worked across a broad range of projects, developing particular expertise in Dilapidations, Building Surveys, Party Wall matters, Contract Administration, and Boundary Surveys. His practical, hands-on approach and deep technical knowledge make him a reliable and trusted professional in every aspect of his work.
Matthew takes pride in delivering clear, practical advice to clients while building strong working relationships.
Outside of work, Matthew leads an active lifestyle. He is a keen hiker and runner, he enjoys playing golf and snowboarding, and keeps fit with regular CrossFit sessions. He also values spending quality time with his family and friends.
