Pure Padel – Stockport

Bowman Riley partnered with Pure Padel Stockport to deliver a dynamic indoor padel facility in Stockport, Greater Manchester. Appointed as lead architect, interior designer, and principal designer, we were brought in during the construction phase of a new-build industrial unit to transform the shell into a vibrant padel destination.

Working closely with the shell contractor, we designed a bespoke toilet and changing room block tailored to the client’s exact specifications. The layout was carefully planned to maximise the number of courts within the available footprint, ensuring optimal use of space without compromising comfort or functionality.

The completed centre features five fully panoramic indoor courts beneath soaring 10.5m ceilings, creating an impressive sense of scale and openness. A bar and café area provides a welcoming social hub, while a mezzanine viewing gallery, strategically placed above the changing rooms, offers an elevated vantage point for spectators to enjoy matches and capture content for social media.

To meet budget requirements without sacrificing quality, we leveraged our extensive supplier network to specify cost-effective materials that deliver a premium finish. The centre benefits from carpeting throughout, enhancing the overall aesthetic and player experience.
