Bowman Riley partnered with a nationwide padel operator to deliver a pioneering, fully indoor padel facility for Pure Padel Darlington.

As the only dedicated indoor padel club in the area, Darlington padel centre is setting a new benchmark for the sport in the North East. Located just a short drive from Middlesbrough and Newcastle, the venue is designed to be accessible, inclusive, and future-ready, playing a pivotal role in the sport’s rapid expansion across the UK.

Bowman Riley is at the forefront of this momentum, supporting this padel operator in their nationwide roll-out of premium padel centres. Appointed as lead architect, interior designer, and principal designer, we play a central role in bringing their ambitious vision to life, not only in Darlington, but across their expanding portfolio.

The centre includes seven state-of-the-art, fully panoramic courts, purpose-built to deliver a best-in-class playing experience. Every detail from the Spanish-imported courts to the high-specification lighting and social area was chosen to elevate the experience for casual players and competitors alike.

Pure Padel Darlington was designed as a multi-purpose social and lifestyle destination, capable of hosting everything from casual games to corporate events and private functions.
