Running the adidas Manchester Marathon 2026
On 19 April 2026, Sam will be lining up at the start of the adidas Manchester Marathon – one of the UK’s largest and most popular marathon events. Known for its vibrant atmosphere and fast, flat course through Manchester, the marathon attracts tens of thousands of runners each year, all pushing themselves to achieve something remarkable.
Supporting Cancer Research UK
Sam is raising money for Cancer Research UK, a charity dedicated to funding life-saving research into the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of cancer. The work Cancer Research UK supports impacts millions of lives and continues to drive progress in improving survival rates and treatment outcomes.
By taking on 26.2 miles, Sam is helping to fund vital research that brings hope to families across the country.
From the Drawing Board to the Start Line
Based in our Skipton office, Sam is known for his thoughtful design approach, attention to detail and collaborative spirit. Whether he’s working on complex architectural projects or clocking up the miles in training, his dedication and determination are clear to see.
Balancing marathon training alongside professional and personal commitments is no small feat. Early morning runs, weekend long distances and winter training sessions all form part of the journey to the start line in April.
