T-Levels Week at Bowman Riley ✏️

This T-Levels Week, we’re celebrating the next generation of talent and shining a spotlight on our current T-Level students, Danis and Abubakr from the Leeds College of Building.

Since joining the Bowman Riley Academy for their work placements, both have quickly become valued members of the team. They’ve approached their placements with enthusiasm, a willingness to learn and a real commitment to developing their skills, making great progress along the way.

Each day of the week follows a different theme, and today’s theme, thriving, is a fitting one. For students, a work placement is an opportunity to take what they’ve learnt and experience how it applies in a professional environment. It gives them the chance to build confidence, develop practical skills and gain a better understanding of life within the industry.

For us, it’s also an opportunity to support emerging talent and give young people meaningful experience as they begin thinking about their future careers.

Rachel Knight from the Bowman Riley Academy said “Danis and Abubakr are a great example of students thriving in their work placements. Eager to learn, engaged with the team and committed to continuous development. They have quickly become a valued part of our team.”

Danis and Abubakr have embraced the experience, getting involved with the team and making the most of the opportunities available to them. Their enthusiasm and engagement have made them a welcome addition to Bowman Riley.

We’re looking forward to seeing how they continue to develop throughout their placements and where their T Level journey takes them next.
