A community-led approach to housing
Lowfield Green Housing Co-operative is a special project that puts people and community at its heart. Developed by YorSpace, the scheme delivers affordable homes through a co-operative model that gives residents a greater stake in the place they call home.
The project demonstrates how a different approach to housing can help create places where people feel connected, supported and invested in their neighbourhood. It is a fantastic example of how community ambition, collaboration and thoughtful design can come together to deliver lasting social value.
Bowman Riley was delighted to work alongside YorSpace, supporting its vision for Lowfield Green and helping bring this pioneering development to life.
