Abby Kilpatrick – Junior Interior Designer

Abby Kilpatrick joined Bowman Riley in 2025 as a Junior Interior Designer, based in our Leeds office, bringing with her a passion for thoughtful, user-centred design

Originally from Bolton, Manchester, Abby began her interior design journey by undertaking placement work with local design agencies, gaining valuable hands-on experience early in her career.

She graduated from York St John University in 2025 with a degree in Interior Design. Her final major project explored the creation of a women-centred healthcare environment, reflecting her interest in designing spaces that are both purposeful and driven by real-world needs. Through her research, she was inspired to keep designing for purpose and change.

Her time at university helped shape an appreciation for how design influences how people interact with and experience a space, a principle that continues guiding her work.

In her free time, she enjoys cooking new foods, swimming, spending time with friends and looking after her many house plants.
