Dean Fixter – CDM Principal Designer

Dean Fixter joined Bowman Riley in 2025 as our dedicated CDM Principal Designer, bringing with him over two decades of hands-on experience in the construction industry.

After more than 20 years working across a wide range of construction environments, Dean moved into a specialist CDM consultancy role, where he built deep expertise in preparing PCIs, reviewing CPPs, carrying out site audits and inspections, producing SSICs, and developing health and safety files. His work has supported numerous projects spanning residential, commercial, and refurbishment sectors.

At Bowman Riley, Dean is a pivotal member of our team. He leads several major client accounts, champions compliance, and ensures that both clients and contractors meet their statutory duties. Dean also plays a vital role in supporting project delivery under the Building Safety Act, contributing to Building Regulations and Fire Safety (BRPD) work, including cladding reviews and higher-risk building compliance for care environments.
