He also assisted in the running of an adventure training camp for British army soldiers posted in Kenya, Joe guided groups of soldiers in rock climbing, mountaineering, canyoning and mountain biking; and finally, he assisted in setting up a small construction firm focused on earth brick housing and wood fired hot water systems.
Joe is currently working towards qualification as an Architect and intends to undertake the Part 3 exam in 2025.
Outside of work, he can usually be found in the mountains either climbing, mountaineering, running, or cycling.
