Lei-Vann Mcgillvary-Allert – Architectural Assistant Part I
Lei-Vann Mcgillvary-Allert joined Bowman Riley in 2025 as an Architectural Assistant Part I, based in the Leeds office.
Lei-Vann completed his BA (Hons) in Architecture at Leeds Beckett University in 2025 and works across various teams.
For his final year project, StokeLetic, which explores retrofitting and deconstructivism in a community project revitalised by sports, he received two commendations in The Sports Archive Student Architecture Competition.
He is passionate about the spatial theory behind the relationship between form and user behaviour within architectural spaces. From a young age, he has been passionate about imagining and sketching how neglected spaces in the community could be improved while also seeking to understand how buildings are constructed.
While at university, Lei-Vann worked as an assistant athletics coach for RAM Runners. He is also a highly competitive national-level athletics sprinter for the City of Sheffield. In his free time, he enjoys travelling and rugby league.
