Tan Nguyen – Architectural Technologist

Tan joined Bowman Riley in 2025 as a Graduate Architectural Technologist in our Leeds office and has recently been promoted to Architectural Technologist.

Since joining the practice, Tan has quickly become an integral part of the Leeds team, contributing to a wide variety of projects and bringing positivity, professionalism and a real commitment to our values to everything he does. He enjoys taking on new challenges and sees them as valuable opportunities to learn and develop.

Tan completed his master’s degree in Interior Design at Sheffield Hallam University. He also holds a master’s degree in Architecture from the University of Architecture Ho Chi Minh City and a bachelor’s degree in Architecture from Hong Bang International University in Vietnam.

Before moving to the UK, Tan gained five years’ experience as an architectural technician working on hospitality and residential projects in Vietnam, followed by two years working in Australia.

Outside work, Tan is highly accomplished in Aikido, a discipline centred on harmonising energy rather than meeting force with force. This feels particularly fitting, as he brings the same calm, positive energy to his work and to those around him.
