First up, we have one of our directors, Craig Mewse, to kick us off! Craig is an architect by profession and has worked at Bowman Riley for over 15 years.
Can you describe Bowman Riley in 3 words?
Collaborative, ambitious, fun.
What’s been your career highlight to date?
Helping to grow Bowman Riley into a multi-disciplinary practice with a strong culture and trusted client relationships, while still delivering projects I’m genuinely proud of.
Have you got any new personal goals for 2026?
To keep improving balance – working smarter, developing future leaders in the practice, and making more time for travel and experiences outside work.
Which of our values resonates the most with you and why?
Excellence – because everything we do should be the best we can do.
What advice would you give someone entering our industry?
Be curious, be resilient, and don’t rush. Learn from everyone around you, ask questions, and remember that good architecture is as much about people as buildings.
What’s your favourite holiday destination?
South East Asia – great food, culture, climate, and a real sense of perspective.
What’s your favourite film?
Little Miss Sunshine.
