This time, we meet Helen, an associate and conservation architect who joined the Bowman Riley team in 2019.
Can you describe Bowman Riley in 3 words?
friendly, professional, supportive.
What’s been your career highlight to date?
Working on Dalton Mills. It is a local building to me; I have known it (and its many states of disrepair) for years, it holds a very special place in my heart.
Have you got any new personal goals for 2026?
Become more organised.
Which of our values resonates the most with you and why?
Integrity, for me, without integrity, you can’t achieve any of the other values.
What advice would you give someone entering our industry?
Think very carefully! Find your specialism and be sure it aligns with your personal goals, vision and skills.
What’s your favourite holiday destination?
Portugal: a lifelong affinity keeps pulling me back. I have always visited every few years for as long as I can remember. I am honoured that I can now share this love of the country with my daughter.
Do you prefer dogs or cats?
Both.
A good night out or a mug of tea and a good film?
Mug of tea.
