Beyond the Office: Building Bonds Through Shared Experiences
At Bowman Riley, we believe great work starts with great people – and that means creating space to connect, recharge and have some fun beyond the office environment.
Twice a year, we bring our three offices together for an afternoon beyond the office that’s all about team-building, creativity and wellbeing.
This September, we headed to Leeds Dock for an afternoon of activities designed to inspire and energise. Our teams had the choice to:
🧘 Join a private yoga session at Yoga Hero suitable for all abilities
🚶 Explore the city, rivers and canals with a walking tour led by Leeds City Walking Tours
🎨 Get creative at Pinot & Picasso with an art class to produce their own piece of artwork
🛶 Or get adventurous with stand-up paddleboarding along the canal
It’s just one way we invest in our people and foster the culture that makes Bowman Riley a great place to work: supportive, inclusive, and full of opportunity.
These afternoon activities formed part of our Annual Staff Conference 2025. It was a fantastic opportunity for colleagues from across all teams and our three offices to come together, connect, celebrate our achievements over the past 12 months, and look ahead to an exciting year to come.
