Bowman Riley Annual Conference 2026

On Friday, we hosted our Bowman Riley annual conference 2026, bringing together colleagues from across our three offices for a day dedicated to the people who make our practice what it is.

Held in Leeds, the event combined reflection, learning, and celebration, all aligned with our ongoing commitment to “Grow Better” as a business and as individuals.

The day began with a series of insightful presentations, where teams from across the practice shared updates on their latest projects and how their work is contributing to our wider company strategy. It was an opportunity to connect the dots between disciplines, celebrate progress, and highlight the impact of collaboration across the business.

Alongside project updates, we welcomed guest speaker Ellie Kay, who delivered a powerful and thought-provoking talk on neurodiversity. Her session created an open and inclusive space for discussion, helping to deepen understanding and encouraging honest conversations around neurodiversity in the workplace.

We also heard from the Bowman Riley Academy, who showcased the vital role they play in supporting our graduates as they begin their careers, as well as the wider outreach initiatives that continue to shape the next generation of talent within the industry.

A particularly meaningful moment came from Colin Briggs-Campbell, who introduced the Steve McDonald Prize for Excellence. The award honours our late friend and colleague and stands as a lasting tribute to his contribution, passion, and legacy within Bowman Riley.

The morning set the tone for the rest of the conference, focused on learning, reflection, and fresh perspectives, while reinforcing the values that continue to drive our practice forward.
