Creating Diverse Neighbourhoods

Bowman Riley hosted and co-sponsored the TheBusinessDesk.com residential-themed roundtable discussion on creating diverse neighbourhoods in our Leeds office on 25th January 2023.

A lively and impassioned debate took place around facilitating the creation of diverse neighbourhoods and communities. The roundtable brought together developers, financiers, planners, architects and community advocates to discuss how we all respond to the changing needs of residents.

Chaired by the editor of the Businessdesk.com, Andrew Staples, the discussion was attended by select property and real estate professionals.

Bowman Riley’s Colin Briggs and Samantha Jevons joined Matthew Turnbull from the co-sponsor Keyland Developments, along with Lee Savage from the developer/contractor MODA/Caddick Construction, Paul Thornton, head of land and planning at Crest Nicholson Yorkshire, Sarah Hart, community-led housing hub manager for the North and East Riding with Community First, Richard Gough, a project manager at developer Rushbond, Stephen Boardman, chief executive of affordable home builder Verity Housing Group, Gary Woodhead, the chief executive of Curveblock and Mark Heyes, director of property funding specialists IM Capital.

The diverse neighbourhoods event was the first in a series of roundtable discussions with the Businessdesk.com and Keyland Developments.
