Creating Environments Where Every Pupil Feels Safe
Creating environments where every pupil can feel safe, supported and ready to learn.
We’re proud to have supported Beechcliffe School in Thackley for children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities through a social value-led interior redesign.
The school aims to provide world-class secondary and post-16 education to pupils across Bradford with specialised needs, with a trauma-informed approach that helps every pupil thrive.
Carleton Academy Trust approached Bowman Riley with a clear ambition: to create a more nurturing and supportive environment for pupils at Beechcliffe School through a sensitive redecoration scheme.
By transforming previously clinical rooms and corridors into warm, uplifting spaces, the redesign supports emotional regulation and creates a more positive learning environment.
Calming rooms, sensory spaces and nature-inspired corridors now feature bespoke graphics, soft tactile finishes and carefully selected colours designed to create a welcoming environment.
