Director Colin Briggs-Campbell Helps Shape Development of RIBA Inclusion Toolkit
We’re pleased to see the launch of RIBA’s Designing LGBTQIA+ Inclusive Spaces Toolkit, developed by Queer Places in partnership with RIBA.
The resource combines practical guidance with workshop tools, prompts, and activities designed to help project teams initiate meaningful conversations about inclusion throughout every RIBA Stage. Leading with the ethos ‘nothing about us without us’, the toolkit encourages design teams to challenge assumptions, explore different perspectives and engage more thoughtfully with LGBTQIA+ lived experiences.
The inclusive spaces toolkit aims to do this through scenario-based interactive workshop activities that support discussion, reflection and collaborative thinking.
We’re proud that one of our Directors, Colin Briggs-Campbell, played a part in the development process through workshop testing and proofreading, helping to refine a resource that supports more inclusive conversations across the built environment.
