This time, we meet Dan Heward, who became part of the Bowman Riley team in 1997.
Can you describe Bowman Riley in 3 words?
Welcoming, supportive, ambitious
What’s been your career highlight to date?
The journey so far, sounds a little cheesy but when I started out here, I’d just left school and my main roles involved folding prints and taking the daily (yes daily) bacon butty order. I’ve had the advantage of seeing how the company has grown and changed over the years which makes me feel very proud of where we are at today
Have you got any new personal goals for 2026?
Live a little healthier, I’m also trying to get a better work/home balance, “life moves pretty fast, if you don’t stop and look around once in a while you could miss it”
Which of our values resonates the most with you and why?
Integrity, without that what do we have?
What’s your favourite holiday destination?
Vegas baby!! Failing that, Italy or Greece
What’s your favourite film?
There’s many, I love films, but probably Stand By Me or Ferris Buellers Day Off would be in my top ten
Favourite song?
The Smiths – Well I Wonder or There is a light that never goes out, really lifts the mood!!
Do you prefer dogs or cats?
I prefer neither in equal amounts
A good night out or a mug of tea and a good film?
Think I’m leaning towards a good film and a glass of wine these days
