Team Bonding, Gdańsk Style: A Cultural Adventure to Remember
14 members of our team swapped desks for cobbled streets and sightseeing as we set off on this year’s cultural trip to the beautiful city of Gdańsk, Poland. What followed was a whirlwind of sunshine (and wind and rain), history, laughs, and Uno — the perfect blend of team bonding and cultural exploration.
Day One: Sunshine, Song & City Strolls
We kicked off our adventure with an early flight and were greeted by blue skies and warm autumn air on arrival. Wasting no time, we dived straight into the magic of Gdańsk — wandering through its charming old town, soaking in the colourful architecture, and enjoying a relaxed al fresco lunch under the sun.
But the day didn’t end there. After sunset, things took a livelier turn. A fierce Uno game kicked off the evening, followed by an impromptu and totally chaotic karaoke takeover. We belted out classics (some better than others!) and kept the energy high, finishing the night with plenty of dancing 💃🎤🍸
Day Two: Culture, Cuisine & Quiz Fun
After a lively first day, day two was a little more relaxed — but just as memorable. We took a slower pace, wandering through town, picking up souvenirs, and paying a visit to Gdańsk’s iconic cathedral for a bit of culture and calm.
The afternoon brought us to a bustling food hall, where we sampled local bites before settling in for a friendly (but competitive) pop quiz and a round of homemade limoncello! Dinner followed, with great food, good company, and a few more toasts before we finally let exhaustion win.
From spontaneous sing-alongs to cultural sightseeing, the trip reminded us just how much fun we can have as a team — both in and out of the office. Gdańsk, you were a dream. Until next time!
