Craven Barn Interior Design – Yorkshire
Bowman Riley provided architecture and interior design services for the conversion of a redundant agricultural barn into Craven Barn, a striking contemporary family home in Yorkshire’s scenic landscape.
Our clients sought assistance in bringing their dream home vision to life. The brief was to provide a clean interior design concept with a neutral base, creating a sense of layering and connectivity between rooms while maintaining individuality and cohesion.
We crafted a thoughtfully designed interior that captured our clients’ unique personality and vision. Drawing inspiration from the barn’s original industrial character, we layered in contemporary accents and a calming neutral palette to create a harmonious and tranquil family home with depth, warmth, and style.
We initially provided a comprehensive concept design involving key visuals of the large spaces to establish an understanding of scale and massing within the interior. Following the concept designs, we proceeded with full specification, interior schemes, and a technical package for bespoke joinery, bathrooms, feature headboards, decoration, lighting design, and floor finishes. This approach allowed for meticulous attention to detail, ensuring every aspect was carefully considered and designed to perfection.
By incorporating our clients’ preferences, we delivered a customised dream home that fulfilled their vision. The Craven Barn project showcases Bowman Riley’s commitment to designing well-considered spaces to the smallest details. Every aspect was carefully thought out and implemented, from the choice of finishes to the trim on every cushion.
