Robin Hill Residential Development Branding – llkley

Bankhead Group appointed Bowman Riley to develop the residential development branding for Robin Hill, an exclusive collection of seven new-build apartments in Ilkley’s Middleton Conservation Area.

The spacious two- and three-bedroom apartments feature private outdoor space, two parking spaces, and are within a gated development with mature landscaped gardens, a living green wall, and a sedum-roofed carport.

Working alongside our architects and our client, we successfully created a distinctive residential development brand that communicates the quality, exclusivity and landscaped setting of Robin Hill.

Our challenge was to create an identity that would position Robin Hill confidently within Ilkley’s premium property market while giving the development its own recognisable character.

Our services included brand strategy and market positioning, residential development identity, logo and monogram design, colour palette and typography, construction hoarding design, sales and marketing collateral, and print artwork and production coordination.

An identity rooted in its setting

The Robin Hill identity combines a refined monogram with elegant typography, a restrained colour palette and rich botanical imagery. Deep green establishes a connection with the development’s mature landscape, while gold detailing introduces warmth and a sense of quality. The clean, contemporary monogram complements the bespoke architecture without relying on traditional or predictable luxury property imagery. Together, these elements create an identity that feels modern, considered and appropriate for the development’s conservation-area setting.

Turning the site boundary into a marketing opportunity

The identity was applied to large-format construction hoarding surrounding the development, which combines the Robin Hill branding with concise sales messages, development information and architectural visualisations. This allowed the site to begin communicating its character, quality and market positioning before prospective buyers could experience the completed apartments. Clear visual hierarchy ensures that the development name and key messages can be understood quickly by passing pedestrians and motorists.

Creating a consistent buyer experience

The visual identity was extended across printed sales and marketing materials, creating a consistent experience from initial awareness through to more detailed buyer conversations. Dark green covers, gold lettering, carefully selected materials and tactile finishes reinforce the premium positioning of the apartments. Repeating the monogram, typography and colour palette across each application makes the development immediately recognisable. The result is a cohesive property brand that supports Bankhead Group’s sales and marketing activity while giving Robin Hill a distinctive presence within the Ilkley residential market.
