Helen Walker – Head of Heritage
DipID BArch RIBA Senior Conservation Architect
Helen Walker is a qualified Conservation Architect with over 10 years experience of working with heritage assets.
As a conservation architect, Helen’s role is to primarily provide an overarching view of the heritage projects within the practice. She provides a broad range of heritage services including Heritage Impact Assessments, Quinquennial Inspections and advice on historic building repairs and identification of defects.
Helen has experience of working with a wide variety of heritage assets including Grade I, II* and II listed buildings as well as battlefields, scheduled ancient monuments and conservation areas. She has provided heritage advice to a wide variety of clients including local authorities, private clients and organisations such as the National Trust.
Helen loves the challenge of working with heritage assets and is conscious of the importance of balancing the needs of the client with the needs of the building so that people can enjoy these wonderful structures for generations to come.
In her spare time, when not ferrying her children to a variety of clubs, Helen sings in her local choir and loves walking and rugby (watching not playing!).
