Bowman Riley Announced as Headline Sponsor for Kirklees Property & Construction Met Event 2026

We are proud to announce that Bowman Riley is the headline sponsor for the upcoming Kirklees Council Property & Construction Lunch, hosted by MET Events on 30th April 2026.

As a practice committed to supporting the growth of the regional property and construction sectors, we are delighted to continue our partnership with both MET Events and Kirklees Council for what promises to be another high-impact event. The lunch brings together key stakeholders, professionals, and decision-makers from across the industry to discuss current developments, share insights, and explore opportunities for collaboration and investment.

Earlier this month, Bowman Riley secured a place on the Kirklees Council’s four-year framework to provide conservation architecture, heritage consultancy and building surveying. We have previously supported Kirklees Council in the regeneration of some of Huddersfield’s most iconic heritage assets. Huddersfield Station Gateway project, we worked on the Grade II*-listed George Hotel, the birthplace of rugby league, where we provided conservation-led design, façade repairs, and feasibility studies to support its transformation and on the Grade II–listed Estates Building, involving the sensitive restoration, including stained-glass, masonry, and ironwork repairs. Both projects were developed in close collaboration with Kirklees Council and Historic England and reflect our shared commitment to preserving historic character while delivering modern, sustainable outcomes for the town centre

This annual event is always a highlight in the calendar, and with tickets already close to selling out, it’s shaping up to be another fantastic occasion.

Representing Bowman Riley at the event will be April Marsden, Craig Mewse, Samantha Jevons, Helen Walker and Beth Hodson with more team members to be confirmed.

We look forward to engaging in valuable conversations, strengthening relationships, and contributing to discussions that help shape the future of property and construction in Kirklees and beyond.
