RIBA Principal Designer Register

RIBA Principal Designer Register

We are thrilled to announce that Roy Wilson and James Barnes have successfully passed their RIBA Principal Designer Assessment including the Higher Risk Buildings (HRB) attainment level. This impressive milestone reflects their exceptional expertise and commitment to achieving building safety.

To achieve this accreditation, they demonstrated advanced skills, knowledge, and experience in health and safety and design, meeting the rigorous demands of complex projects. The three-stage assessment process included challenging tests, a detailed written evidence submission, and a comprehensive interview.

By securing their place on the RIBA Principal Designer Register, Roy and James have proven they meet the professional competence standards required to act as Principal Designers under the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 and the Building Safety Act 2022.

This achievement strengthens Bowman Riley’s ongoing commitment to safety, quality, and compliance across all our projects.

Well done, Roy and James — your hard work and dedication continue to raise the bar for excellence!
