Partnering with Kirklees Council at Met Events Lunch
We are proud to share that Bowman Riley was the headline sponsor for the MET Events Kirklees Property and Construction Lunch, held on Thursday 30 April 2026 at the Accu Stadium in Huddersfield.
Associate Director, Samantha Jevons presented a short introduction to Bowman Riley alongside Helen Walker, Associate and our Head of Heritage. Helen shared insight into our role as conservation architects on the repair and restoration of the George Hotel for Kirklees Council.
We also heard an informative update from David Wildman, Service Director Skills and Regeneration from the Council, covering:
– An overview of the Kirklees Local Plan
– Strategic sites and investment opportunities
– Town centre masterplan and future opportunities
This event follows our recent appointment to the Council’s consultancy frameworks and our work on projects like the George Hotel, the Estates Building, Somerset Building in Huddersfield and various building surveys.
