Celebrating 10 Years at Bowman Riley: Dan Postill
We’re celebrating a fantastic milestone for Dan Postill, who has reached his 10-year anniversary at Bowman Riley.
Dan joined Bowman Riley in 2016 as an Architectural Assistant, based in our Skipton office. Ten years on, he is a qualified Architect, Associate and Certified Passive House Designer based in our Leeds office, with an impressive portfolio spanning residential, commercial, industrial, hotel and leisure projects.
His key projects include Tingley Mills Residential Development, Greenholme Mills Residential Development, The Cliffemount Hotel in Runswick Bay, which is set to become the UK’s first Passive House hotel., Maltkiln New Settlement and Lowfield Green passive house development for YorSpace in York.
It has been quite a journey.
Over the past decade, Dan has developed into a talented designer and an important part of our architectural team. His progression reflects both his design ability and his commitment to developing his knowledge and expertise.
In 2022, Dan completed his Passive House training and became a BRE-accredited Passive House Designer. His passion for reducing carbon through building design has become an increasingly important part of his work and reflects his wider interest in creating more sustainable buildings.
In 2023, Dan was promoted to Associate and joined Bowman Riley’s management team. His promotion recognised not only his exceptional design talent, but also the contribution he makes to the wider team, including mentoring and supporting more junior colleagues.
Dan’s contribution extends beyond his project work. He is actively involved with the Leeds Chamber of Commerce Property Forum, where he is part of the Quality Spaces and Places group, helping to explore how the built environment can contribute to improving Leeds’ public realm.
He has also become a familiar face at industry events, conferences and networking opportunities, helping to build relationships and share Bowman Riley’s expertise across the sectors in which we work.
We’re proud to have been part of Dan’s journey so far and look forward to seeing what the next ten years bring.
Congratulations on 10 years, Dan!
