Laura Baarda is a qualified interior designer and member of the British Institute of Interior Design.

A graduate of Northumbria University with a first-class degree in Interior Design, Laura started her career at a high-end residential interior design company in Shrewsbury for several years. Joining Bowman Riley back in 2018, she returned to her Yorkshire homeland working as part of our interiors team, which was launched in January 2017. Since then, Laura has become our Head of Interior Design, fostering a creative passion for the interior schemes, materials and details, working with the team to deliver projects that surpass our clients’ expectations.

Laura is a creative and innovative interior designer working on high-end residential, commercial and hospitality projects at Bowman Riley. She has a passion for concept design and soft furnishings with extensive experience in high-end residential design, as well as a passion for concept creation for commercial offices, bars and restaurants. She loves to add finer detailing to schemes to ensure that they reflect the owners’ personality or that of their brand. The interiors team is at the forefront of design, creating inspiring, efficient and innovative interior spaces that enhance the users’ experience. We work on a wide range of projects from commercial design, bars and restaurants, hotels, and leisure to bespoke private homes.

Laura loves to spend time outside, enjoying a break in the Lake District as often as possible, spending time in the garden and constantly finding new projects to be completed in her own house.
