Bowman Riley Golf Day 2025

Bowman Riley Golf Day 2025

On Thursday, 5th June, Bowman Riley proudly hosted its much-anticipated Golf Day 2025 at the scenic Skipton Golf Club, an event that brought together clients, project partners, property professionals, and staff for a memorable day of competition and connection.

With over 50 attendees, the day kicked off in high spirits over a relaxed lunch with freshly made butties, setting the tone for an enjoyable afternoon on the course. The four-ball Texas Scramble format provided a fun and inclusive challenge, welcoming both experienced golfers and enthusiastic novices alike.

A highlight of the day was the ever-popular halfway house, which offered a welcome break with refreshing drinks and a selection of award-winning pies and scotch eggs, courtesy of local favourite Drake & Macefield. Hosting the pitstop were Samantha Jevons, Rebecca Jones, and Tom Shelley, whose warm hospitality added to the day’s friendly atmosphere.

As the rounds concluded, everyone gathered back at the clubhouse for a celebratory dinner and the much-anticipated prize-giving ceremony. Tony Pleasants presented awards to the winning team, made up of:

Matthew Stubbs (Bowman Riley)

Henry Hodgson (Planning Potential)

Connor Gray (Turner & Townsend)

Chris Sharp (Vivly)

Individual honours also received well-deserved recognition:

Liam Steadman (Paul Waite Associates) took home the Longest Drive

Henry Hodgson (Planning Potential) won Nearest the Pin

Freddie Whitehead (Wates) claimed Nearest the Wavy Line

The day concluded on a high note, with guests leaving not only with prizes but also with new connections and shared memories.

A huge thank you to everyone who took part in making Bowman Riley’s Golf Day 2025 such a fantastic success. We look forward to seeing you again next year!
